Not many people like to settle for a cheap android tablet. It is not a device that is built to impress and as it turns out, the Vodafone Smart Tab N8 is no different.
It is available on Pay as you Go along with a 10 pound Big Value top up for 129 pounds or you can acquire it for a 30 pound down payment followed by a 10 pound monthly instalment with 2GB worth of Data.
The N8 certainly does not have the most exciting list of specifications to read about it is enough to put Vodafone on a competitive streak with the leading range cheap tablets currently in the market – of Amazon’s budgeted fire tablets.
The notable specs on this model are MediaTek Quad core processor, 16GB of storage with a micro SD slot, 2GB of RAM, Android 7 software, 5GB on the rear camera and 2GB on the front, a 10.1 inch 1280×800 display and a 4600mAh battery.
As ever with a cheap tablet, there are some drawbacks. The sim for example can come from Vodafone and the software unlikely to be able to cope with advances gaming. The speakers however, are dual front facing, so the sound quality will not be all that bad. It is always good to do some solid research on budget tablets before buying into them.
