Huawei recently announced plans to unveil four new tablet models aimed at budget users. The new tablets will be two each from the brand’s M3 and T3 lines. The M3 line will be cheaper with tablet prices starting at just $139. The T3 line will have pricier tablets with more features starting at $199.
The M3 line will have the cheapest of the four tablets. The brand will unveil two new 8-inch and 10-inch tablets from this line, which are said to be more powerful than the older MediaPad M3 Lite tablets. The M3 tablets will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processors, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with an SD card. The tablets will have 2MP front cameras and 5MP rear cameras. Both tablets will have batteries with 4,800mAh capacities. The smaller tablet will cost around $139 and the larger one would cost about $159.
The two T3 tablets will come in similar sizes but will be slightly more costly because of advanced features. The T3 tablets will sport premium aluminum shells. Some of the specs announced are rather impressive. The tablets will have two 8MP front and rear facing cameras. The processors will be octa-core Kirin or MediaTek products. The tablets will have at least 3GB of RAM. The preinstalled operating system will be EMUI 5.1 Lite.
The smaller T3 tablet will have a slightly smaller battery with a capacity of only 4,800mAh, while the larger one will have a capacity of 6,600mAh. The larger T3 tablet will be equipped with four top-notch Harmon-Kardon speakers, while the smaller one will only have two. The small T3 will cost around $199 and the larger one is expected to cost around $249.
All four tablets will be soon available for purchase online.
